Our work around food poverty seeks to give respect, health, dignity and hope to those in our communities via a suite of short and long-term solutions that tackle food insecurity faced by residents in Greater Manchester.
Dec 2019 – Nobody Hungry at Christmas
This project was originally designed to feed those experiencing homelessness in Bury on Christmas Day but it quickly became two-sided where we also delivered hot Christmas lunches, ready to be plated up, to over 30 families across Greater Manchester. This campaign was the birthplace of our food bank on-wheels.
Mar 2020 – Present – Coronavirus Care Greater Manchester
Our food bank on wheels takes the traditional food bank model and shakes it up – making it accessible to anyone in the city. Once you have a referral, just send it to us and our dedicated volunteers will ensure you have a food parcel on your doorstep the next working day!

A free teatime hot meal for school-children in deprived areas of Manchester, to plug the gap between free school meals.
