We currently collect and process the following information:

How we get the personal information and why we have it
Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:
Provided via website:
· You have donated to us on either an ad-hoc or subscription basis.
· You have subscribed to our mailing list.
· You have purchased a product.
Provided offline:
· You are a referral agent
· You are a client
We use the information that you have given us in order to:
· Send newsletters to mailing list subscribers.
· Provide service updates to referral agents.
· Provide charitable services to clients.
· Claim Gift Aid from consenting donors.
· Process payments for donations or products.
We do not share this information outside of our organisation, unless for the direct benefit of a client who has provided their express consent to do so.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:
(a) Your consent. You are able to remove your consent at any time. You can do this by contacting info@humansmcr.org
(b) We have a vital interest.
(c) We need it to perform a public task.
How we store your personal information
Your information is securely stored.
If you have donated to us on an ad-hoc or subscription basis, this information is securely stored by our payment processing provider, Stripe. You can find their privacy policy and contact information here: https://stripe.com/gb/privacy
If you have subscribed to our mailing list or are a referral agent, this information is securely stored by or our mailing list solution provider, Mailchimp. You can find their privacy policy and contact information here: https://mailchimp.com/legal/privacy/
If you are a client, this information is securely stored on encrypted business cloud file storage by our cloud file storage provider, Google Workspaces. You can find further information on the security here: https://support.google.com/googlecloud/answer/6057301
We keep personal information for as long as it is required. For donors, this information is held indefinitely unless you have requested for us to delete it. For mailing list subscribers, this information is held indefinitely unless you have requested to unsubscribe. For referral agents and clients, this information is held for the duration of your partnership with us. We will then dispose your information by deletion from the relevant places it is stored (see above).
Cookies
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

Registered Users
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
